TZS0 overheat related question: I believe the P8400 CPU has a x8.5 multiplier. Using the CPU Clocking software to turn off CPU throttling has the unfortunate side effect of downclocking the CPU to 8x multiplier. What CPUs work with this laptop to avoid the TZS0 overheat reporting bug and also not have their CPU clocks reduced (if any)?

To answer the first question about the ebay sellers. I believe those cpus are engineering samples and not the final final product. Then again I don't know too much about that myself but that's what I gathered so far. Some on this forum say that certain engineering samples aren't capable of having their temperatures monitored. I just won a t9800 so I'll report back how it fares once I get it and install it.

A little off topic, but I've been looking at the P9500, looks like that might be an awesome choive for this notebook.
Any void warranty stickers I should be aware of? -
As far as I know from the pictures and guides I've seen, nope, just keep your stock cpu if you are thinking of returning for warranty fixing. Swap it back in when you send it in.
who changed the stock processor in their 7811/7801 ?
