I will say that the built in wifi card has better range than my Linksys N USB card for my desktop.

card works very well! using on wireless n network...speeds reach 50 to 60 mbps

If you are using a Linksys N router, w/ the Linksys N usb adapter, you should easily hit 270-300mbps, if you're w/in decent range. And it won't need to even be a dual band router......... -
type o
that's megs
50 to 60 megs
and it connects at 130 mbps -
i only get a weak signal on mine. i really wish they put in an slot for wireless laptop cards, but im going to buy a hawking...dish antenna when i go to BB for a price match later.

I'm still using a Linksys Wireless G router (WRT54G). I'm guessing there's a new Linksys WRT54N model? or something similar? I keep hearing how amazing N is, as long as it's compatible with with B/G and offers standard WEP(Wii and DS only encryption available), it's time for an upgrade.
the 6860 does have an awesome card, the 4965. -
oustanding network performance so far on every standard I have been able to try. So far been on a G and N network and bother were impressive. They really did well with this P-6860 FX machine.
