The screws covering the cpu on the heatsink are extra hard to remove, and I believe I am using the right philips size screw driver, but they seem in really tight and I don't want to strip the screws.

Me, my father and my grandfather all work as car mechanics, and when we unscrew things by hand that we are concerned about stripping, we put a generous amount of either lubricant (WD40) and if not that Vaseline. This is a good way to have the screw let you know if you are putting out too much tension as the screwdriver will slip out of the screw's teeth. Remember as well; the longer the screwdriver, the better. That goes for nearly every tensional hand tool.

Oh, and, also. You can be pretty rough with those if my first idea is too much of a hassle. I doubt you would strip the screws completely in on attempt. How many cpu swaps are you planning on doing, anyways? Hahah.

    Yeah, I got a longer screw-driver.

It's in, installed and running well. ;)
