Price to performance wise I would say t9300 is better as full potential of over clocking X9000 can't be used in a laptop due to heat issues.

There are a few people on this fourm using a x9000 with no problems, it can be had for $600.00ish on ebay. The x7900 is another extreme chip it goes for around $500.00ish on ebay. Both can be oc to 3.0ghz too. Another poster bought a x7800 that will oc to 3.0 also (all can be set in the bios.)

actually all x9000 are around $500 on ebay now.
@jehovany8888, get a t9300 and overclock it to 3.1 or 3.2Ghz by setfsb, we are having a hugh discussion in sager section right now.
I managed to run my T8300 @ 2.9Ghz, passed through all the stress test, temperature never went above 54C with only half fan throttle

@flynnaz, there are 2 types of OC: 1.) unlock multipliers 2.)increase FSB. Since all the T-series processor's multipliers are locked, we can only go for the second method. it is software level OC, check this thread out if you are interested: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=249470

If you can get a x9000 for $500.00 buy it, I have seen them no lower than $530.00 w s/h. The x7900 is going for around $400.00 w s/h not bad and will oc to 3.0 also

if you are patient i know someone who got a x9000 off ebay for like 425 (the guy i got mine from)... you just have to watch ebay like 24.7 for a while and always ask the sellers if they are willing to sell.. i know its against ebay rules but ill tell you i know sooo many people who got insane deals that way
