    Aero 15-X9 X-Rite Pantone disabled

    Hi good day everyone. Just wanted to ask for anybody who has the Gigabyte Aero 15-X9 X-Rite Pantone color profile.

    I wiped my hdd and reinstall Windows 10 but forgot to backup a copy of the X-Rite Pantone color profile. Now the X-Rite Pantone is disabled on Control Center.

    Anybody got a solution?

    Open the Control Center then go to the last tab and scroll to the end, if the color profile isn't installed, you should have an option to have it installed:

    Then you should be able to select it from the below screen:

    Many thanks for the detailed instruction, really appreciate the time and effort.

    I have tried this method several times on different Control Center versions. Using this method the Control Center download the X-rite Pantone and automatically install it and a pop up window will appear and say "Finished". But when I go to the 'manager' tab I still can't activate the Pantone Icon.

    Do you know where does the color profile go when the Control Center download and install the X-rite Pantone?

    When I once formatted my laptop to try a clean install. I had obviously previously saved my Samsung OLED screen's color profile. I simply right clicked on it and hit install then it went to the above location automatically. You have to do this step BEFORE you install the Control Center. that way when you install the Control Center and reboot it would pick it up and you will be able to select in in the settings I showed you above.

    Hi Spartan. This was my problem, I was not able to backup my color profile before wiping my hard drive. I was hoping somebody with the same Aero 15-X9 laptop screen panel have their color profile saved and share it so I can try resolve mine.

    Hi Seba. Unfortunately when I wipe my hard drive I did not make a backup of the recovery partition, but thanks for your suggestions.

    Have the same issue....As I understand it is not possible to recover profile, because it is unique for each lsd panel (

    I tried the latest update of the control center and it download and installed the profile. Do you have the LG ips screen as well?
