    1. Clean everything off with IPA
    2. Clamp the 2 heatsinks together i used MX2 between them and bond with epoxy , Make sure everything lines up 100% with all screw holes otherwise you will need to start over !( the steal epoxy will be better i think but this works for now )
    3. Replace all the heat pads i bought 1MM and 0.5MM ( i only used the 1MM )
    4. Apply thermal paste i used MX2 but will maybe try GELID EXTREME next some time
    5. Put everything back together and run a good few tests after about 2 hours everything should settle and temps should stabilize <3 20180425_122406.jpg 20180425_122429.jpg 20180425_122450.jpg 20180425_122500.jpg 20180425_122509.jpg

Looks like two different vbois versions to me, the question is was this done on purpose by the vendor or not.

I would agree as it would make sense to regulate the power/heat to meet the cooling solution requirements.

Hopefully some other pro owners will share and shine some light soon.
