Hello everyone.
I'm looking at the X5 V6 ( link). I've looked at the Clevo P650HS-G from HID, but I feel like at this price point and specs, this laptop is a much better deal than the Clevo.
But I'd be buying it from USA and using it in India, so I need international warranty, which HID is giving me, albeit at a higher price. This is the only thing that is keeping me from pulling the trigger on buying this laptop.
So I've a few questions:
Does Aorus provide international warranty?
If so, then does anyone have any experience with their international warranty?
Also, if anyone has this exact model from Newegg, could they care to share their warranty experiences, if any, with me?
And in general, how good is the Newegg warranty(its 2 years on this model)?
Thanks everyone!

I love my P650HS, but probably would have bought that if it was available. That price is awesome and the X5 is built extremely well.
Their warranty is global and here: http://www.hidevolution.com/aorus-warranty
If I had to guess, it's probably somewhat slow but works.
Can't help with Newegg. -
Sadly the Aorus global warranty doesnt cover India.
I feel really bad that HID doesnt sell the X5, because I've heard that their global warranty is great.
I'd love to have this laptop! -
Well it's great but like 300+ dollars usually for 2 years on a system like that. So it would push your budget.

Clevo is 2300USD with 2 year HID global warranty and similar specs. The Aorus had 2 year Newegg warranty and the Aorus warranty all included in the price. So I wanted to look at the Aorus warranty, and if someone had any experiences with it. Its really sad that I can't buy this.

AORUS does provide international warranty but only to select countries. The increased price of HID's warranty is likely to cover additional expenses with this. In India's case, I've been told part of this is that India's trade protection laws complicate warranty coverage. (unclear whether it's the "Make in India" stuff, but may Indian users have mentioned it)
@Galm is right about build quality, they're built like tanks.Galm likes this. -
Well yeah. The Clevo would easily be the best option if not for the $400 2 year international warranty option. That's why I keep looking for deals on other laptops and keep talking to other resellers.
