Well. I ran WPrime32, decided to submit my result for fun. And surprisingly I'm at the top. Poor AMD so little entry's.

    http://www.hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=844258

2nd Highest score for the AMD Turion ZM, only 80ms off from first place.

What scores do you guys get?...
It would be interested to see what CPU's score what.

LOL, my old laptop - i.e. the one I left at my girlfriends to use when there like now, scored the following:

    32M - 55.359 sec over two cores.

Mind you, it is an old T2330 1.6Ghz

There's a huge thread of Wprime results in this forum that people post to every once in a while. My T9300 gets somewhere between 30 and 31 seconds depending on how hard I try to make sure only Wprime is running. My all time record is 29.983.

Lol only a quad 1.1ghz could achieve that I can imagine. If I remember correctly the Q9000 2ghzx4 only gets around that score!

I am using a AMD quadcore processor at 1.1Ghz..... What did you expect from such a low score (or high scrore). I guess my AMD processor pwned Intel Q9000. LOL

Anyways, here's the screenshot. This time, the score is a little bit highier, ~17.5s

    http://cid-2fedd1342ad58911.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/Public/untitled.JPG

If I try, I can get much lower score than I already have. Right now my DDR2 is clocked at 333mhz. I could them up to over 600mhz with my Crucial Bullistix RAM with 2.1V vidimm. Processor can also be overclocked to 3.2ghz with 0.05v vcore adjustment.

Right now, almost everything is undervolted and underclocked. So much higher score (or lower score) than usuall is expected.

apparently, both 1.5 and 2.0 version would let me upload the result. Both saying, the upload thing is not compatible with the versions. I got around 120S on my intel atom based netbook.

AMD doesn't make any quad core processors at 1.1GHz. The Agena processors (which is what you're using) are desktop Phenom X4 CPUs and they start at 1.8GHz. Furthermore, even if you undervolted and underclocked the processor, there is no way you would be able to get such a score out of a 1.1GHz quad-core because that's roughly equivalent to a 2.2GHz dual-core and your score is on the order of half of what the latter get.

What you're seeing is the effect of the processor dynamically downclocking itself when not in use to save power. Wprime measures the processor speed just before it starts the test (not during) so it sees the downclocked speed. Once you run Wprime, the frequency increases to whatever it really is.

It seems as NHC is messing around with my power profile thus causing the "maximum power save" profile to be a different profile. It must be a bung in the way of how NHC handles the multiplier adjustment. Anyways.. I turned off NHC and did the test again, I got around 30s at 1.1ghz on my quadcore.

    ah, that makes sense now.

Regardless, im still suprised in the AMD. People with high end phenoms are getting some pretty impressive scores.

Yea, its great. So cheap right now, this summer im buying myself a new enthusiast desktop. I think im gonna go for AM3 Mobo + Highest AMD CPU I can Get. Not because its cheaper, well that plays a bit, but I think AM3 socket is gonna have some interesting and powerful CPU's. Cough* Bulldozer.

AMD may take the cake once again? Perhaps.

Good luck with your new build
