I'm configuring a Dell Inspiron 1700 (Vista Premium OS) with the bluetooth option.

If I ran Windows XP Pro instead of Vista how would this affect the bluetooth function?

Would Windows XP Pro still run ok with the exception of bluetooth?

Dell says bluetooth would not function.

    Thx.

Umm... not related to this, but you did the tags backwards. the slash goes in the second one to close it

    [B.] [/B.] (without the periods)

BTW, bluetooth would work fine, just install the drivers. If they're not available, then XP itself will work fine, but it may tell you a device cannot be found or something along those lines.
