    Guys,
I am fixing my friend's laptop.

Problem: image is tiled across the screen and flickering.

I tested the laptop with an external monitor and it's perfect, so I went ahead and ordered a new LCD. I installed it and the problem persists.

    What are your suggestions?

I doubt it's the inverter. I really hope this can be solved without trashing the lappy.

Thanks in advance for the help!

If the new LCD still has the problem, you'll most likely have to replace the LVDS cable.
