    Hey there,

I'm in need of 2 notebook 500GB HDD's, and I'm wondering if there's any deals going on with these, preferably <$100 a pop before tax?

    Thanks.

the closest your going to get for a 500gb is a 5400 rpm by W.D. Its out for 102.95 for one at pc village. They should have a location somewhere in DT

Use shopbot.ca, pricecanada.com, or redflagdeals.com to find the latest deals and prices.

I did, the lowest I've found is $104.
But there's always the chance that there's a deal they're not catching.

Where do you guys get your electronics? It's so expensive.

I get mine from NCIX and I've seen Hitachi 500GB hdd go as low as $60CAD before.

    Anyways..
    $99.99 500GB 2.5" external HDD

just take apart the case and use the drive. Use the case for something else if you want

    WD scorpio blue $99.99

If you want 3.5" 500GB hdd, you can get it for $49.99 CAD

I'm assuming the Acom external uses a 12.5mm drive -- unusable as internal.
The WD Scorpio shows up as $129.99
    No, I don't need a 3.5"

The reason why i offered hahutzy a harddrive at 102.95 at PCVonline is because its from a drivable distance. Shipping costs money you know XD.

NCIX saves me PST as well.
If 750GB / 1TB drives aren't coming out soon, I'm gonna go for these.
    Thanks!

Haven't seen any news of >500GB drives, though K-TRON might have more info about when they will arrive. Doubt it will be for a few months though.
