    [HDD] Is it possible to just swap?

    Hi,

    I'm planning on buying another hdd for this notebook. My question is: If i install my os on it, and everything, can i just put my old one back on to use that one and otherwise?
    Say i have Win 7 on the new one and vista on this one, can i just swap them without problems?

    You should be able to do this however have you considered dual booting instead? As swapping hard drives just to access a different OS can be cumbersome.

    yes.....
    i moved my hdd from old dv6500t to m860etu , without even reinstalling the OS
    and it works like charm
