[How to] Packard Bell Easynote TJ75 BIOS recovery disk & update, make caddy work, manual, overclock

As I have received help in this forum I want to share my findings on this laptop for anyone using it.

Packard Bell Easynote TJ75 comes with Phoenix BIOS V1.09 installed (hit F2 at boot to access BIOS and check)

I have created a downloadable Phoenix BIOS Crisis Recovery Disk of my BIOS (V1.09)

To make a caddy work you have to update to Phoenix BIOS V1.16

Before you run the update make sure you have the battery on etc, if the update doesn't complete use the Recovery Disk you created/downloaded before.

It is completely safe if you follow the instructions in the order but I take no responsability.

A user claims in the following thread that there is another update that unlocks more BIOS options, even overclock the laptop.

Loads of information in here, it explains what is what on the motherboard, what runs on PCIe, SATA2, USB2 etc.
I discovered it late, it would have saved me a lot of time.
