Does anyone know how solid state drives handle windows page file (pagefile.sys)?
Which one of the following scenario is true in your opinion when the page file is accessed/written. I suspect b is true
a. The entire page file (2~4GB) get rewritten
b. Only specific page file dividable units (bulk part estimate 4k~512k maybe) get written?
If b is true and given the SSD's wear leveling, then I assume the pagefile will be just as highly fragmented as other files. I know fragments in SSD do not matter. But I am just curious.

And you can't stop it, i'd say it's the same chance to keep it longlifed when not trying to wear it out as it is just using it for anything.
Anyhow it's a much faster to have a pagefile written to an SSD as the seektimes are ~0.1ms and transferrates are enough.
