Centrino is not a processor. It is an Intel Technology that is based on an Intel Chipset, Wi-Fi Card, and Processor. It is basically a bundle of Intel products that certifies it as Centrino.
Core 2 Duo on the other hand is a processor that is used in Centrino platforms.
And regards to your examples, P8700 is actually called C2D P8700 because that is actually the processor. -
so whats the different?
so actually the speed of the processor of centrino2 and c2d is just the same? -
I am certian centrino 2 is the 45nm processors along with the PM45 chipset.

Centrino 2 is the whole package. Centrino 1 was a 667-800Mhz front side bus package. Centrino 2 is the more modern package with Intel Integrated Graphics 4500 series, an Intel WiFi card, and Intel GM/PM45 Chipset. Basically Centrino refers to the combination of the three major components in a system that all have to be intel components, whereas Core 2 Duo is just the CPU designation.
Example...
This is a Centrino 2 System...
Intel Core 2 Duo P8700
Intel GM45 Express Chipset with 1066Mhz FSB
Intel 5300 A/B/G/N WiFi Mini PCI-e
If the system has a seperate discrete graphics card, for instance an NVidia or ATI graphics card then one can say the system is centrino 2 "based" but it cannot be sold with a "Centrino 2" sticker on the case. -
so if there is Said Centrino 2 it means that it got a integrated graphic cards?

No. The ONLY difference between a Core 2 Duo and a Centrino 2 laptop if you have an intel Chipset is the inclusion of either a Intel 5100, 5300, 5150 or 5350 wifi card. THAT'S IT. It doesn't matter on discrete or integrated graphics.
In fact, if you own a Centrino 2 laptop and remove the Intel WiFi card, the laptop will most likely go from the Centrino 2 logo in the BIOS screen to simply a Core 2 Duo logo.
