Does anyone know what happened to the supposedly 2 terabyte memory card, i read an article earlier dated 2004 about this card..

2TB is the theoretical limit. It's a theory. Like 64bits is capable of TB's of ram. Doesn't mean you can use it. In theory the card can hold up to 2TB it's true. Doesn't mean that there's the technological means to do it.
As you can see memory sticks and SDXC already have a 2tb theoretical limit.
Though this card presents 120mb/s performance which is very good compared to another cards. But I don't known if that is a theoretical limit too but is it probably is it too.
SDXC has a limit of 104 MB/s, with plans to increase it to 300 MB/s in the future.
That is an old new. Back in 2004. SDHC's specification was released in 2006. SDXC's are now in production.
My guess is that µcard was dumped like some other types of memory card because other alternatives appeared, in this case the SDHC and SDXC.
another example of a dumped memory card:

ah i see so it's a card that was abandoned
