    Hello!

Due to my dead M4000 I started to search for a new one. On the ebay those are too expensive, more cheap I`ve found on the aliexpress.

I would like to ask users - does anybody of you have bought any PC-related items from there? Does they ship, mostly, as is described in shipping details (for example, if they say that item will be shipped after 2 days the payment received, they really ship)? Does the item really will be delivered in terms of time, described in deliver description? For expamle, if using DHL service and if there is written that item will be deliver between 3-5 days, is it, mostly, a truth?

Why I`m asking all of this - I`m planning to use DHL service, in delivery details there is written, that the item will be delviered within 3-5 working days. But, my colleague tells me, that I shouldn`t use such options, because they are fake - the item will be delivered within 7-10 working days to Europe, and than it will just sit on the post office or on the customs.

I know that aliexpress have "buyers protection" service, as ebay has, but in this case I can`t wait for too long and I need a fast delivery. So that`s why I`m asking your opinions.

And, please, sorry for my english. :D

From my experience the sellers with the highest sales are more reputable and reliable for what they sell and support. And if there is something wrong with the product or mismatch most reputable sellers will refund or take back the item and send the correct item. It's up to the buyers to do their homework to make sure it matches what they are looking to buy. And for delivery that is a estimated date and this could be related to sent in the US or outside to the US or being sent outside of the US. So read the Shipping notes to know what to expect when buying-weather and location Region conditions can delay shipments and that is beyond the control of the Seller. If your not sure about the product contact the Seller but use respectable language and you will get a reply back unless they are so backlogged then you might have to IM them a couple times to get your questions answered.

Thank you! That`s what I`ve expected. So, typically, it is the same ebay with the same politics of buying-selling, only Chinese.

I and many people I know buy lots and lots of stuff on Taobao, which is pretty much a better version of Aliexpress for the Chinese market. Many sellers on Taobao will also ship internationally and prices there are usually a lot better. Some sellers are dumb and annoying, but most are really great. Chinese customer service is known for not being very good, but the system that Alibaba has implemented on these websites makes sure that the sellers not only stay in line but usually try to make the customer happy. They don't get their money until you receive your product and confirm that it is good. You should have zero fear of buying anything on there.

As for shipping internationally, I know the pain. For anything that doesn't fit in a bubble envelope or weighs over 200 grams, you need to fill out customs forms. This also means that the package will be stopped by customs in the destination country. I have shipped things to myself, friends, and family in Europe and North America, and customs is the longest delay in shipping. The longest I have had packages take to be delivered was 6 weeks for airmail. I have had packages shipped by boat arrive in that amount of time! I think that most countries pay extra close attention to items shipped from China. Some countries seem to get things through customs faster than others. I know that it is customs in the destination countries delaying things because of the tracking. The last tracking in China will say that it was scanned at the airport just before being put on a plane. Then the next tracking update will usually be that it has just cleared customs or that it is out for delivery in the destination country. You can imagine the anxiety felt for weeks on end as there is no more information about the package. However, I only ship things from the post office. I do think that if something is shipped with a company such as UPS or DHL, it will get to you quite a bit faster as they have their own routes through customs and aren't handled by the regular postal service. I have had documents sent to me by DHL from China to the US and they arrived in 2.5 days.

Great, I`ve picked the DHL service in this case too. I hope that it will be delivered fast.
