    Hi!

A few months ago I bought KHX1600C9S3K2/8GX RAM memory ( link to PDF)
Now I want to buy a second set of it. I however saw the KHX1600C9S3P1K2/8G set, which seems to be cheaper almost everywhere.
What is the performance difference between those two? Timings on the cheaper one look lower.
Would it give compatibility problems if I would mix those two sets up?

You should be able to buy the cheaper set, they will most likely just downclock to 1333mhz vs the 1600mhz they are capable of. Not 100% sure but they should since the i series of processors. No use buying old hardware the faster ram is newer and cheaper as well.

    Thank you for your answer.
Why would it downclock? The ram I've now is running at 1600Mhz too.
I don't know whether the cheaper one is actually newer. The ram I've now is from the Genesis series and the cheaper one is from the Genesis PnP series.
