1. Troubles to download and install lenovo drivers on xp 2.

1. I’ve problems with installing drivers on lenovo 3000 n100 0768-flg with windows xp.
it came with windows vista in hebrew but i had problems with it and it was slow.

i installed windows xp SP2 english. i didn't knew what the exact drivers to download because there was some categories that had more than one per component.

for example. when i installed the power driver and then ran the installer from the c:\ it was not showed any battery information even after i restarted the system. what should i do?

when i installed the audio drivers the OS started to be slow and had little freezing’s.

i wasn't able to find bluetooth support so i downloaded the big driver on lenovo website. it was very uncomfortable program that didn't worked for my bluetooth mouse.
i wasn't able to just use the simple windows xp bluetooth component. why?

i had many other problems like these.

2. i decided to remove xp and "recover" tp the vista again but it wasn't took me to the recovery after pressing f11. it load the xp again. so i used partition boot software (acronis) to format drive c:\. and also set the recovery partition to be "active" with that flag.

after that i was able to load recovery with f11 but after that complicated screen it failed to recover and then i opened the boot partition program again and saw that the whole recovery partition was erased and was "un assign" space. i will call the service tomorrow to see how then can copy that partition to me again.


i need windows xp for now because couple of programs i use not supporting vista.

and i feel very bad because i wasn't able to but laptop without microsoft operating system.
