    1.5V RAM with 1.35V on-board RAM in laptop?

    Both will work perfectly fine for you. Your notebook supports both 1.35V and 1.5V RAM. The 1.5V RAM will draw a little more power, thats all

    EDIT: Wait are you talking about mixing them? Then I`m not shure if it will work. Maybe the 1.5V will downvolt to 1.35V though. Not shure

    This is asking for trouble: The 1.5V stick under-volted to 1.35V will greatly increase the risk of system instability as will the 1.35V stick over-volted to 1.5V (extra heat produced and possibly/probably in excess of the design parameters).

    Even if it works initially; there is no guarantee that you are not putting your system's reliability at risk at some point in the future.

    What is the most logical way to proceed here is to buy two identical sticks and sell the original (after verifying that the new Sodimms are working 100% for you).
