    Hey all,
getting a W520 and was comparing disks, i was going to get the i ntel 310 80GB mSATA but it seems small and i'm afraid i'll face problems installing it without a case (like how its looking here)

    any advises ?

also getting bigger disk say 256GB SSD would be better or getting small disk like 80GB or 120GB as OS disk then storage off bezel/bay disk ? although ill lose the DVD during the usage of the storage

im currently having 64GB SSD samsung i believe as ubuntu OS disk and my original 160GB 7200RPM disk as storage and windows and not facing issues with space on storage except closing on OS (around 55GB)

i think i should not compare the mSATA with the other disks after reading :) it seems a small disk that fits into the WWAN card place below the battery

does the Intel 310 works on any laptop including thinkpads ? because that will REALLY give me a huge boost not utilizing the optical drive space with a bezel/bay and keep the original 500GB disk into its original place.

    thoughts?
