Which would you use for gaming? The MS/brightness is the same on both.

However the 27 Inch is my HD LCD TV the 19 Inch is just a normal LCD pc monitor.

1360x768 is a weird size, though it's technically the default resolution for most 720p displays (not 1280x720, which is a common fallacy). Not all games support 1360x768, so you may not be able to game in the native resolution. Any game will handle 1280x1024.

Gaming on a widescreen is kinda nice sometimes, I must admit.

The monitor will probably look better but without knowing specs and what not then ????

My 21 looks alot better for games than my projector but playing on a 100" screen is just awesome sometimes.

If you can play on the 27 inch without stretching try 1280X768 (will crop sides) and decide which you like best, it will be native resolution if it crops and the display will be bigger.
