    15.4 laptop with an 9800m gtx any info

    hi i was just wondering if anyone knows any info about a 15.4 laptop with an 9800m gtx graphics card

    There is none. I don't think there will ever be one, unless the card sees a revision which addresses its power consumption.

    Even the 8800M GTX aka 9800M GT was only ever in two 15.4" notebooks; that's very telling of how hard it is to fit that power into the 15 inch form factor.

    And the 9800m GT is more than enough. In real world performance, the GTX has only been shown to get as little as 5-10% more performance than the GT.

    Yeah the 9800M GT is the most powerful card they've managed to fit into a 15.4" chassis without the whole thing setting itself ablaze! lol :p (and technically some machines still have a bit of heat issues)

    The 9800M GT(or 880M GTX) can be found in the Sager NP8660 and the Alienware mx15.

    And the 9800M GTX does not yield THAT huge a performance boost over a 9800M GT, in the range of 10-15% as someone else said.
