    Hey,

As some of you might remember, I have got a new 6400, which is my first laptop. I noticed that right part of the keyboard gets really hot after some use, but left is cool. Is this normal? I guess heat distribution cannot be even but is it ok to have it this discrete? What is the deal with your E1505/ 6400?

    cheers,

the hard drive is on the right side, usually they heat up after an extended period of time. Mine idles around 45 degress C. The heatpipe/sink and fan are also on the right-hand side and that helps keep the left side cool, as compsavy mentioned. If it bothers you, consider using a notebook cooler than blows on the hard drive or prop it up to allow better airflow.
