I have an Asus M70vm-X1 with a 17" screen and HD resolution.

My current desktop is dual monitor at 1024 resolution.

I'm trying to figure out how to best use the 3 monitors (laptop screen included).

    Just laptop?

    Laptop + 1?

Laptop + 2? (via the Matrox device or perhaps a splitter of some sort?)

Just the 2 and let the laptop be a closed box (seems a poor waste of a nice screen...)

    Any ideas Gents?
