Anyone know anything on this topic, will they be around a year from now? I personally would love to use them to run 1333mhz at CL 7 and perhaps tweaked to CL 6 for a tidy 15% boost over 1333mhz @ CL 9

It is rare but I could swear I saw a Corsair 1866mhz CL10 kit floating around. CL9 is a huge jump possibly requiring 1.65V which would increase power consumption a fair amount. Personally, I think the trend is going towards high frequency rather than tight timings as there is a huge benefit for iGPUs.

    How about 2133MHz CL12 1.5v? Link.

    Marksman NewEgg has 2 1866MHz CL10 currently.

I think you're right. With DDR4 just around the corner, what we have today is likely where it will stay.

Doesn't RD RAM have lower CAStimings? I can't recall and the only [definitive] specs I saw were on frequency and bandwidth.
