    That is a 3.5" drive. The 2.5" version is WD10TEVT (12.5mm height). It spins at 5,200RPM and costs more than $200. That 3.5" drive is damn expensive lol.

    Last that I heard, it was part of the Passport series external USB drives.

    Does anyone know if they have just the internal drive for sale?

    I just purchased a WD Caviar black 1tb 7200 3gb/s desktop internal for $87 two days ago from Newegg. Purchased a Rosewill rx 385-s enclosure for it, fired it up, works great. I don't know if I'd want something that big in a laptop... would heat be an issue?

    Yes, it's not the standard 5,400RPM. 5,200RPM is what the WD spec sheet and website claim...
