    GQ ZX - 5530
A friend of mine gave me the Great Quality notebook ZX 5530 she says that when they are using it, the notebook suddenly shutdown many times. After that, the notebook won't turn on when you press the power button. This notebook is more than a year old now. After I brought this home and plug in the power chord, the light on the power adapter is on BUT when i plug the chord in the laptop, the light starts blinking, is this a normal sign or it's because of the power adapter.

Sony VAIO (unknown model ) ( i haven't seen this notebook yet)
My friend also told me that her brand new VAIO often turn off the screen and turn green ( instead of blue screen). Every programs are still running bc she still hear the beep sound of chat messenger. Is this because of spyware ,adware or it's a hardware problem?

    MY NEW DELL E1750
    - After reinstall my laptop windows it shows up the blue screen. Today, i load up the new BIOS and after the BIOS installation complete and it start up to windows, it shows up the blue screen again.
    - I notice that the start up after logon start pretty slow while the hard drive makes loud click noise and spins alot. I only run Bitdefender, bluetooth, wireless INtel pro, Windows blinds , ATI control on start up.
    - Another notice is the boot screen of windows starts slower than normal, which the logo windows XP shows up slowly (right after Dell startup screen). Can any1 tell me is this bc of the version of windows i install or it's a hardware problem?

    1. Could be the AC adapter has failed. Is it very hot? How does it operate on battery?

    2. Vaio - some Vaio LCDs turn a dark green color when the display shuts off for a brief period, maybe 1 or 2 seconds. She should return the notebook for service or replacement.

    3. I suspect a hard drive failure on the Dell. What is the blue screen error text? That "click" is often called the "click of death". I would return the E1750.

    Much bad luck here!
