Ok, my brother and his friend occasionally get together to play WoW (<.<) What they want to do is use his computer and have double everything, mouse, keyboard, monitor and play 2 games at once. Is there any way they can do this without the inputs of each other being combined by the computer (press X on one, presses X on both)?

Microsoft has been developing something to do this. However, its origional purpose was to share workstations between office workers (mainly for 3rd world countries), but i think the same principal would work here. I dont remember the name of it, but remember hearing about it a few years ago.

Nope, not going to work. That's why you see those WoW addicts who have multiple characters running at once with racks of computers.

What if you run a virtual machine?

All the VMs I've run take control on the system inputs. Plus, they don't have the best video acceleration for gaming.

I guess we'll have to just map the keys they use differently and use an extended desktop.

No, that will not work. You can not have 2 open windows wtih bothing having the mouse and keyboard priority. Like you can not type in a word document while you have internet explorer open. It wont work for you unless you have specially written software to do the job.
2 people share comp to play 2 games at once?
