Ok my first question is, since new products are coming out quarterly just about, right now what is the Fastest SSD for notebooks? also want relieabilty, somthing that isnt gunna pooch out on me.

Also I want to put it in the laptop I am using now, Would i be ok to just buy one of those 20 dollar HD docks, and just clone the HD some how onto the new SSD? and I would be ready to roll, on the laptop with the new ssd with all my old stuff on it from the older HD? Is that all there is to it?

thank you! i plan on getting my very first SSD next week. oh BTW Im looking at getting a 120gb.

you want performance or reliability? you'll get different answers depending on what you prefer. intel and crucial are preferable if you want reliability.

Do you have Sata II or Sata III? Sata II Intel might be the better choice for reliability, On either I think crucial gives great performance and reliability.
