I'm looking to mount a SATA SSD in my Asus G51VX-RX05 and i need to get a 2nd pair of mounting brackets since the computer only came with 1 set for the initial hard drive and i have no idea where to find them or what even to really search to find them. Are we talking about just a sled or something that also passes data? Some notebooks have those SATA adapters... not sure of the G51 was one of them.

Looks like this is what you need. Out of stock though, but gives you a good starting place to find another place with them

"Hard drive Caddy" and G51 got me that link.

    Hi nevers09, Welcome to NBR!!!

What your looking for is a hard drive caddy. I've owned the same laptop you have. The caddy's are very hard to find. Some people just use Styrofoam to keep it from moving around.

Its out of stock at the Asus E store.

For that price I say jam some electrical tape in there to keep the drive steady.

Or a piece of cardboard. Actually, the foam that comes inside the HDD bay worked perfectly until I found a bracket on the cheap.
