    20GB external hard drive?

    Two people (somebody in the software board and I) are looking for a small external hard drive for backups.
    I'd like a reliable one and that is easy to connect (USB or that other port which looks like the slot for a credit card).

    The best and easiest would be to buy a 2.5" PATA HD, stick it in an enclosure, and voila~ An external HD :)

    That would be the PC Card slot. USB will be much cheaper. You can probably pick up a used drive on ebay, but no warranty then.

    Easiest is to pickup a drive enclosure from somewhere like COMPUSA (I got one for about $20, maybe $30 but I think the minimum version was about $20) and then buy a drive for it, total should be fairly cheap for a 20GB drive nowadays.

    Mine runs off USB (if it's a 2.5" drive).
