I installed a 2920XM processor to overclock my ASUS ROG G74S i7 2630qm.
I bought a CH341a epprom device so I changed the bios many times and tried different variations. But even the turbo boost didn't kick in, let alone overclocking. There is no direct menu in the BIOS that allows overclocking. Fortunately, when the C-State was turned off, the turbo booster started working, but it was running at 3.2ghz, not 3.5ghz, and even the turbo speed setting was locked.
Also, the Intel XTU tool is locked. Although ThorttleStop only allows you to increase or decrease the speed of the cores in the TRL section, the specified speed does not become active because it also works passively.
I need your ideas. There are some sections in the BIOS that I didn't set, I'll post the pictures. There is also a hidden Chipset section, maybe it has nothing to do with it, but I will try to activate it anyway. Hope we can handle this. Thanks.

3.5 GHz is the max 1-Core boost. The max 4-Core boost is 3.2 GHz, so the CPU is operating correctly.
Throttlestop can't overclock a 2920xm. That CPU can only be overclocked through BIOS, or XTU.
I see in https://ibb.co/ZVp1FzK that the turbo ratio limits are listed. I assume you can't set these.
If you find a version of AMIBCP that can deconstruct a BIOS dump, we can hard flash in overclocks with your programmer.Papusan likes this.
