Intel and Micron's joint venture, IMFT, just announced 128Gb MLC NAND die. Commercial availability won't be coming until at least next year, but SSDs are catching up in capacity to HDDs. I still expect the price to be prohibitive.

I was ready to buy one from Dell for my next computer, but once Dell annouced they'll sell it for twice the price for the upgrade I had to pass.
