    Hi,

!)I just bought a 5796 with 2gigs of DDR 1066 ram in SODIMM. I am planning on buying another stick in a couple of months, and I was just wondering if installing windows vista 64bit with only 2gigs of ram will cause any issues for me?

    2) Also, I am planing on buying a cooler for my laptop, and after some reading it seems that everyone recommends the Zalman NC2000. I'm just a little curious as to why it's so expensive, as other coolers are only 10-20 dollars? Also if someone has that cooler, would he/she mind commenting on how high the incline is, and if it makes typing uncomfortable. I also understand the LED is very bright, is there any way to turn it off? Because sometimes I need to leave my laptop on overnight, and a bright light might make it difficult for me to sleep.

    Input would be most helpful,

    Thank you

Its expensive cause Zalman manufacturers all of their goods in Korea instead of China and Japan. When doing money conversions, between the Korean dong and the US dollar, it is much more expensive to buy something made in Korea, than from China.
Anyways, its not a very good cooler. If you want a good cooler make it your self. My cooler cost over $700 in parts, cause my fans are precision engineered in Germany, and have much greater cooling power than anything you can buy in the store. Oh yeah, for comparison, my cooler can push over 1000CFM of air, while most store bought ones can maybe get you 30cfm.

I would give undervolting a whirl before spending money on a cooler, cause undervolting works, its free and does not decrease performance in any way.

Wow, 700 dollars on a cooler, I'm not even going to ask how much your laptop cost! :p

Thank you both for the suggestions, I will also do some research on undervolting.
