I currently have 2x 2gb DDR2-800mhz installed and I was wondering if any 4gb DDR2-800mhz notebook ram work or is there specific ones that only work?

4GB of DDR2-800MHz is 4GB of DDR2-800MHz. The only thing that might differ is timings, but that's pretty insignificant.

Awesome, so there is no need for me to worry about RAM not working as long as it is the correct type(ddr2-800mhz)?

It should go without saying, but just in case... Make sure you get SO-DIMMs.

Hep makes a good point, you don't want to buy desktop memory. :p

200-pin SODIMMs are what you want.
