From what i understand, if you use two different RAM sizes, you will lose dual channel. I am getting vista ultimate, and i thought it would be a good idea for an extra gig of ram, how will the loss of dual channel effect the performance of the computer?

    Thank you!

From what I've read its a relatively small loss in performance, like 5-7%
Don't quote me on that though. :)
