    Hello all,

I have an Asus TP550LA that also came in a 1080p variant(TP550LD) and am trying to upgrade the screen from 1366x768 to 1080p. Anyway I noticed that on the motherboard end of the video cable there are 30 pins, and to the LCD itself there are 40 pins. I found someone locally that is parting out an LG laptop and his screen is also 15.6, but 1080p. I went and checked it out today and his screen is the same size, same area for the connector, but to the screen it is 30 pins and not 40 like mine. Is there such a thing as a 30pin to 30pin LVDS cable? Ebay is giving me vague results. Thank you.
