For several reasons (hot and noisy under load) I'm thinking about PSU replacement for my old but nice M980nu (Sager)
    wIth this one: Chicony A300A001L REV:01, CPA09-022A Input: AC 100 – 240V ~ 50/60Hz Output: DC 19.5V ~ 16.9A
    My questions:
is it safe? (hope it's safe)
Any tricks for DC plug modification?

All advises and opinions are appreciated.
