Assuming the laptop does use 100w more when gaming (it doesn't) for let's say an average of 3 hours a day for one year:
3 hours x 365 days x 100w = 109.5kwh over the course of a year. Assuming $.07 a kwh (what I remember paying), that comes out to a paltry $7.67 over an entire year, or $0.64 a month. I would say your point is null.

But that costs the exact same amount as the Chef'n StemGem Strawberry Stem Remover and I really want to get one. I'm going to have to go with the 650m. I really like gaming, but I like strawberries more.

I don't care what he's saying, I have the same laptop and even if you do the math, there is no way to get 4 hours. It barely gets four hours surfing the web. It's a 62WHr battery, that would mean gaming at a paltry 15W, which is what the system nearly idles at.

I don't believe he's saying he gamed at 4 hours on battery either, just that it came unplugged at some point during gaming, or it was running on battery prior to gaming.

lol thats not how battery dies. 62whr laptops last 10 hours with atoms that take 15w.

    Good for 720p gaming.

Yeah, not sure what nissan is getting at? Anyone thinking they'll be able to game for 3 to 3.5 hours with this machine on battery will be sorely disappointed not to mention misinformed.

    62Wh means 1W for 62 hours, or, 62W for 1 hour

15W power consumption equals how much time?
    62/15 = 4.13 hours

Gaming? Lets say it use 75W
    62/75 = 0.83 = 50 minutes

    Hello,
I don't know which configuration should I buy.
    There are 3 configurations:
    1. i7-3720qm + gtx 670m 17,3 inch
    2. i7-3720qm + gtx 675m 17,3 inch - this configuration costs 150$ more than the first one
    3. i7-3720qm + gtx 660m 15,3 inch - the cheapest one

Would be the gtx 660m or 670m bottleneck for i7 3720qm? is it worth to spend extra 150$ on gtx 675m? Maybe would be the i7-3720qm bottleneck for gtx 675m? Would be there a big difference between second and third configuration (in gaming)?

    Thanks for answers

The CPU will not bottleneck the 675.

The 675 is about 30% faster than the 670 (for serious gaming, I think the 660m is not an option).

So, your call - does 30% faster equal $150 to you?
