In my experience, 3DMark has trouble with mobile CPUs sometimes. My i7-920xm is detected as an i7-950 for example. If you want to check whether TB is working properly load wPrime or Prime95 on 8 threads and check the multis with throttlestop.

That 3.3GHz is the turbo on a single core too.

With my 7970m, the 3D clocks were not picked up by 3DMark. It is not that they didn't come on. Just that the software recorded the clocks at the start of the test, when they were still at 2D. It could be a similar thing with your processor. I'm pretty sure that is what it is with the CPU as well because IIRC, mine was the same. Your scores are in the ballpark for your GPU/CPU combination (from NBC). So I am pretty sure your turbo kicks in. To check, you could run it with throttlestop and log enabled.

I ran wprime and monitored it with HWmonitor and throttle stop. It does get up to 3.1Ghz, but my temps shot up pretty quick. Also, my fans weren't running at 100% until I hit the fan button.

Since CPU clock fluctuates a lot, 3DMark won't detects the right speed every time.. sometimes it detect 798Mhz on my 2630QM, other times, 1996MHz, 2594MHz and 2894MHz.

Just check your CPU turbo state with Prime95 as tijo said, or just compare your CPU score in 3DMark with other scores of the same CPU.

    Good luck :)

Just got done comparing to other 3610 scores. Seems to be in the same general area. Looks like I may have jumped the gun a little.

Thanks for all of the quick replies/help.
