    Hey guys

I am after a good supplier for laptop batteries.

My Sony Vaio FE41S battery life is bad (5200mah) and I want to go to 7200/8800 but refuse to pay the mental prices of Sony.

Anyone know of a good UK based battery supplier??

    Thanks in advance

The only problem is that 3rd party batteries are generally considered to be unsafe...check out the Battery Guide.

If you can, locate a retailer that sells original Sony batteries...those are fine. But be aware that there was a recent fire in one of the largest battery cell manufacturer locations in the world, so prices are definitely up because of a lack of supply.

You should avoid 3rd party batteries. Their safety standards are low. dont buy it directly from Sony, they will charge alot more. Its usually cheaper from retailers

They must have had a hard time putting out the fire in Korea. You cant extinguish lithium/alkali fires with water, it just burns it

If your Battery Pack is compatible to Intels Commmon Building Block (CBB), then you can order a replacement from nearly every major brand. If not, there is little chance to get replacement other than the original sony battery packs.
