Has anyone done this with a traditional LCD? Seems like alot of trouble (and voided warranty) to send out the LCD, but have you guys had any good experiences with it?

I would have searched the topic, but I wasn't sure what to search for. If you guys could throw out some experiences and/or names of companies that do this, etc. that'd be great.

My thought, I wouldn't do it for the reason you mentioned, the voided warranty.

I've seen companies that add the glossy layer, but nothing else. It will definitely void you're warranty.
