Anyone know where I can get 4 gigs of 667MHz RAM with 4-4-4-12 timings in Canada?

    I know newegg has http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231154
but they don't deliver to Canada!

    I know TigerDirect.ca has 2 gigs of 4-4-4-12 RAM, but it's a whopping $121 for only 2 gigs!!!

Anyway, hopefully someone knows someplace in Canada that sells this stuff, thanks!

I was in the Vauhan store today and picked up an Asus 22" lcd monitor and noticed they were getting a little low on stock with connetors and other small hardware, the guy says they are in the middle of restocking, they were cleaned out at christmas time.
I also noticed their ram supply was low.

So I assume it's pretty much impossible for me to buy this RAM off of Newegg?? Can any Americans here help me out? I live in Toronto and I'm willing to drive to Buffalo to pick this stuff up.. Any ideas?

Wouldn't it be cheaper and easier to just ship it after arrival? ;)

I'm not sure what you mean, Newegg won't ship it to me because I'm in Canada

US resident takes delivery in US. They then resend it to you in Toronto like a B-Day present. ;)

Honestly, those lower timings are not worth the extra trouble. Even in full-fledged desktop systems, changing the memory timings has only a small effect on performance and it is not noticeable. I would just get a 2x 2GB kit and not worry about the timings.

Ah good idea, but how could I trust anyone? Is there a certain way to go about doing something like that?

That is the 64,000 dollar question. I would be very cautious, for example I would trust myself but because of where I live and my work schedule I would not want to get involved. I don't sit at a desk and am away from my home in the "inner city" alot. You must have a friend or family in the States? As Chaz said not that big of deal but it would be nice. Anyone know why newegg doesn't ship to Canada? I will look and get back to you if I can find a Canadian place. I have family in Canada (Toronto, Ottawa) and grew up next to the border so very familiar and comfortable, kind of like Canada is the extra 9 States (Provinces).
