The PC number of RAM is forumlated by multiplying the frequency by 8. So 533 * 8 = 4264. Some manufacturers will round the number up, and some will round it down. The same can be said for PC2 5300 and PC2 5400 RAM. Theres techinically no difference between the two. Both frequencies will work.

Different companies round bandwidth numbers differently. Some round down, thus 4200, some round up, thus 4300.

But the original # (which I can't remember the exact formula for) is the same.

    So absolutely no difference.

It's like a 5' 8.5" tall guy saying he's either 5'8" or 5'9" depending on whether he rounds up or down.
