Can anyone shed light as to the capabilities of the 4500MHD integrated graphics. I am going to use laptop primarily for work and online video through hulu and files on my network drive (video_ts). Also I was thinking of playing an online game such as GuildWars or the new Star Wars Old Republic when it comes out. Would the 4500MHD be able to handle these tasks.

The Intel 4500M performance is between the nVidia 8200/8400.

It should support online games with no issue and normal notebook works as stated.

    cheers ...

Although being not very powerful card when it comes to gaming, it should be enough for online games. However, you should check out system requirements on the internet regarding those games you have mentioned, to be completely sure.

The 4500MHD is a low end, integrated card. It's great for everything you mentioned except online games. Guild Wars is an old game, and the 4500 will have no trouble with Guild Wars, but Star Wars Old Republic is likely going to demand a little more kick than the 4500 can offer. Consider that the last PC game released by BioWare was Mass Effect. Expect the system requirements to be somewhere around there.
