    Hey guys.

Just got offered for a P7805u FX from Gateway with a bluetooth upgrade plus 4gb Intel Turbo Memory 2.0. Was messing around to see if this memory really worth it's price, but got no conclusion... I mean, I already have 4gb DDR3 1066mhz, with more 4gb, also ITM2.0, will make any difference in performance? When I say performance I mean in games, battery, and apps...

    Thanks!

No. Turbo memory has not been proven to speed anything up, esp. if you have 4 gb of ram

For really sure? If that's the case I will just let it go...

EDIT: any more opinions guys? If it is really unecessary I will just ignore it hehe...

I recall it being like the readyboost feature (an alternative to getting extra ram).. but if you have 4GB ram.. you definitely don't need it.

Yeah, the one to look out for is Braidwood (next version of TM).

Haven't seen/heard one thing good about v1 and v2. Actually decreasing performance and/or stability.

    But adding performance? No.

(The read/write speed is simply too slow from what I understood of it).

If you don't have an SSD, it'll improve the responsiveness of your laptop. You probably will not gain or loose too much performance though.

Turbo Memory is useless... but the extra RAM will help..
