I'm looking at getting a laptop I like it but it doesn't have a graphic card and it has 5200 Rpm hard drive not 7200 are those big features if I'm not doing any gaming?I will be printing family pics.Help would be appreciated

If you're not doing any gaming or 3D work there is pretty much no reason to get a discrete GPU. Integrated graphics will run Aero effects fine, and that's all many people need.
-
What about the hard drive?
-
If you don't need the PC for more then email and web surfing both will be more then enough. My mom still works on a 1.3GHz celeron single core 80GB ATA 4200RPM HDD with 32MB IGP and she watches TV, IMs, emails, skpe all perfectly fine.

I think the most demanding thing I do would watch netflix in Hd or youtube.

How would my pictures print would they be at least decent?hat about videos I download from my video camera and burn to dvd

The pictures would depend on the quality they inherently have and to a great extent to your editing capabilities.
Video files on that system would be very slow. Sorry, I mean very, very slow.
Very.
By adding that one extra requirement, your computing needs changed drastically. This is why I always recommend you buy as much computer 'horse power' as you can afford - unless you can afford to buy them new as your needs change.
Cheers! -
Would all depend on the quality of the device they were taken on. As far as the computer is concerned neither of these would hinder the quality. The only thing that would differ is accessing pictures or videos on the Hard drive vs a 7200rpm one.

I want to thank you very much your making my decision easier by explaing

I'm really on the fence about this laptop Link

Looks like it will more than meet your needs.
The one thing to keep in mind is that as this is a 64bit version of Win 7 (which I would recommend, btw), just make sure that any peripherals you purchase for use with this computer come with 64bit drivers also.
Otherwise, enjoy!

No problem at all! That looks like a very nice laptop and should serve you well!
-
when watching things like on netflix matter if you have a graphic card or not?
-
You still have a graphics card. It's just an integrated, low-power one. The thing is, the integrated GPU's are getting good enough to really help with accelerating HD and other video, so I wouldn't worry about it at all.
-
Great the only thing now I have to find out is the resolution on this product because I was told it was really weak for a 17 inch.
-
1600x900 I believe. Not 1080p and IMHO low for the laptop size, but then again Im used to 1920x1200 on a 17.0in.

Im deciding between that dell one and this one Link
