Its time to order that 2nd gb for me.

Im ordering from newegg.com unless someone takes the time to tell me a another place is a lot cheaper.

Most ddr2 667 ram is 5300. Some is 5400. At newegg the main brand that is 5400 is ocz.

Someone told me that if my computer has 1 stick of 5400 that if I put in 5300 it would not work in ddr2.

And they also said that if my computer has 5300, that putting in 5400 it WOULD work in ddr2.

Is this true? Because 5400 is not any more expensive and I dont know the ram in the a8js yet unless one of you would like to tell me.

It seems I should go for the 5400 what do you guys think?

It'll run at 5336 no matter which you buy. ddr2 is different from dual channel, which your friend was probably referring to. i think he was wrong and confused.
