    6 cell battery life vs 12 cell battery life?

    i think im going to go with the dv5000t but i hate that the battery sticks out at the bottom. all the reviews i see are with the 12 cell. how much battery time about could i get with the six cell?

    Standard battery (6 cell): up to 2:53 hrs
    Extended battery (12 cell): up to 5:55 hrs

    yeah expect a significant increase. I went from a 4 cell to an 8 cell in my old averatec and I went from 1-1.5 to an impressive 4.5+. Thats was after upgrading the cpu to the top turion available at the time.

    The 12 cell actually has more than double the capacity of the 6 cell so you should see much longer battery life.

    I get 4 + hours with my 6 cell. i don't understand how anybody would need more time than that.

    Simple, Ella. Less worry about recharging. Like business men or even a college student like myself. 4 hrs seems good for the avg user, but not who is like taking it to class from in the morning to the early evening. I would love to have the E1405 because it has the battery life up to 9 hrs. THAT WOULD BE GREAT IN MY SITUATION.
